This 3 month intensive course is designed for aspiring designers with some foundational experience in sewing and Garment construction who are ready to create their first full collection. Whether you’re preparing a portfolio to apply to a fashion school abroad or launching your fashion business, this course takes you through every step of the collection development process. Students will have the option to work independently or with a support team of their own. From ideation and design to branding and business, you will leave with a professional collection ready to showcase your unique style and creative vision.​​

Learning outcome:

 

1.) Develop a Strong Design and Brand Identity: Learn design and branding fundamentals, including creating a logo, defining your target audience, and crafting your collection's story.

2.) Understand Fashion Business Basics: Acquire knowledge of pricing, marketing, social media, and selling strategies to successfully launch your collection.

3.) Create a Cohesive Fashion Collection: Develop a cohesive 15 piece collection to produce 8 final looks for showcase. 

4.) Build a Professional Portfolio: Produce a high quality lookbook using professional photos of your collection, ready to apply to fashion schools or launch your business.

5.) Showcase Your Collection During a Runway Show: Gain hands on experience by presenting your collection in a professionally organized runway showcase.
