It will take you through the very basic elements of design, sewing, machine use, basic pattern manipulation, and garment construction for women's wear. From concept to creation, you will be taught how to design, create patterns for your designs, and cut and sew toiles of a capsule collection comprising 6 garments. You will then sew up 1 look from this collection with actual Fabric. This course provides the ideal foundation for anyone’s journey into garment-making. The focus is to build strong sewing skills and get a full understanding of the process. While it remains a beginner's level program, many students have taken this course and built on it to do great things!

A tabletop machine is required for this course; you can purchase this from the school, which will incur an additional cost.
